不管是冬季還是其它季節，有很多車(chē)主都習慣采取原地怠速熱車(chē)的方式，熱車(chē)一段時(shí)間再行駛，覺(jué)得自上料混凝土攪拌車(chē)，這時(shí)性能佳。但事實(shí)上，原地怠速熱車(chē)不僅效果有限，還浪費汽油和時(shí)間。當引擎在沒(méi)有負荷的狀態(tài)下，溫度的爬升是相當緩慢的，也就是說(shuō)，引擎在怠速狀態(tài)下需要很長(cháng)的時(shí)間才能達到正常的工作溫度。正確的做法應當是自上料混凝土攪拌車(chē)，原地熱車(chē)30秒左右后，立即上路行駛。但由于此時(shí)引擎及驅動(dòng)系統都尚未達到正常的工作溫度，仍應將轉速控制在約2000轉/分鐘之內，待水溫達到正常后方可高轉速運行。

一旦自上料混凝土攪拌車(chē)，熄火，蓄電池就處于只放電不充電的工作狀態(tài)。所以如果在長(cháng)時(shí)間熄火后仍然一直在使用車(chē)內大功率用電器，比如開(kāi)著(zhù)車(chē)輛大燈、停車(chē)在路邊長(cháng)時(shí)間聽(tīng)音樂(lè )等等，這樣可能很快導致蓄電池徹底放電、自上料混凝土攪拌車(chē)，無(wú)法啟動(dòng)的嚴重后果。
